The Truth: Me

My Background

I received my B.S. at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA where I studied pre-veterinary medicine and minored in wine and viticulture. As my undergraduate career progressed, I began losing faith in the medical and pharmaceutical industries, realizing the detrimental effects on agricultural and animal production, consequently human health. My interests then shifted to protecting the environment. I one day hope to fight for the people as an environmental lawyer, or another advocate of a related field–keep in mind, everything has to do with everything (a little something I learned in Holistic Management). I hope to go back to Cal Poly to complete a M.S. degree.

I believe the world is lacking of sincerely compassionate people who genuinely care about the well-being of others; however, this does not mean ALL are, or that people cannot be changed. I want to be apart of making those positive changes.

“It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog.”
-Mark Twain

I know my friends have always laughed at me for saying I want to save the world, but hey why not try.
…I would take the fact of knowing I’ve helped someone or made someone’s day over any materialistic object, any day.

My Blog

My blog provides insights as well as factual information that has been researched (multiple sources) to uncover the truth about the world we live in. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I am always happy to hear a different perspective on things!

Keepin’ it real since ’89

I like your comment that your friends laugh at you for wanting to save the world. Because i feel the same way. My goal is to not just leave a legacy after I leave this world, but to make a difference while i’m living. One of my favorite quotes from long ago (author unknown) was “If Columbus would have turned back, no one would have blamed him….of course no one would have remembered him either…”. I don’t want to complete my time here and not be remembered.
