Post-Workout Snack – Morning Meal – Snack!

One of the best things you can do for your body is facilitate its recovery after an intense workout–you need protein to rebuild those muscle fibers! Here’s a great post-workout snack or even for breakfast (kick start your day!)…yes, it’s Greek yogurt and I’ve been trying to get used to the taste for over a year now…it hasn’t happened. But here’s a way to make it more tolerable (or if you like the taste, even healthier)! (I also prefer to drink water or something with it since it’s so thick). 

Ingredients: 

Greek yogurt (I prefer Chobani Strawberry flavoured yogurt)

Nature Valley Oats’N’Honey bars

2 spoonfuls of organic flaxseed {powder…I got a huge bag from Costco}

Directions:

Open the yogurt, pour the spoons of flaxseed in. Smash the granola bars before opening the package. Top the flaxseed with the granola.

Mix REALLY WELL!

I also add additional fruit to it if I have a chance … nutrition packed snack!
