Great Way to Get Your Greens In!

The Truth: You need to get those greens in!

Ingredients:

Spinach (lettuce has little/no nutritional value)

Tomatoes

Broccoli

Cucumbers

Carrots

Sunflower seeds

Almonds

Cashews

Italian Dressing (supposedly the Wishbone one helps absorb certain vitamins)

Keep the dirty dozen in mind when making this mix!

I find it’s easier to eat a salad if I make it the night before or beforehand…then there’s no excuse not to have it! This recipe is simple, easy, and fast.

Another great idea is to take these ingredients, get whole grain bread/tortilla, some mayo and a slice of mild cheddar with some onions and make a sandwich/wrap! Delicious!
